Sheena Amos Trust

Sheena Amos Youth Trust (SAYT) is a local charity providing support groups for young people living with HIV in Sheffield. SAYT aims to promote the sexual health and emotional well-being of young people up to the age of 25 in Sheffield, especially those who are vulnerable, disadvantaged and marginalised. Current projects include a young people’s health bus and a youth group for lesbian, gay and bisexual young people.

Positively Women is a national charity run by women living with HIV for women living with HIV.

Working to improve quality of life for them and their families, the charity aims to combat stigma and discrimination by enabling these women their families to make informed choices and provide specialist support.

Khokanyana-Phiri

Khokanyana-Piri is an international charity with strong links to the Yorkshire and Humber area.

The charity is partnered with Malealea Trust in Lesotho in Africa, which ranks third amongst world countries most severely infected by the HIV/AIDS pandemic. For many years, Sheffield’s City School has been working closely with Malealea Trust sponsoring African children and helping to complete educational projects in the country.

With supporters including Jarvis Cocker, Khokanyana-Phiri supports the population of the Malealea Valley, helping with poverty relief, sustainable development, and improving access to education.
